No, NEVER! It is like CASH money, or think of a Pre-Paid card.

The tax will be collected for most Gift Cards - like a Best Buy or Wal Mart Gift Card - when you use that Gift Card at the store (if that store charges tax in the state you live in). But iTunes doesn't charge tax for music, applications (or any other media file they sell, I beleive) purchases.

No Gift Card will charge tax when you buy it, that is for sure!

I was left a voicemail with a call back number. When I called them back someone instantly picked up. This was not some half rate staples team I'm sure. An American woman explained I violated the coupon usage. I apologized. She said it was alright and that as long as I didn't do it again I would not be blacklisted.

i got a similar phone call from staples about the coupon, but the person was quite pleasant. didn't accuse me of any wrongdoing, just explained that the coupon isn't valid on orders of gift cards. still, $80 for $100 is pretty good!

Blacklist won't be there the first time u do it, But if one keeps trying, then be prepared for new address, phone, and credit card.
