The $10 off $30 coupon that Sears sent me 18 Jan 2012 with a subject line of "Long time, no see..." supposed to expire Feb 1, 2012 was still working today and I used it for 3 boxes of this detergent for a total of $25.97 + tax. Now I can forget buying the expensive Tide for an year.

Compare to Costco's generic 200 load(around $14-$15) Detergent ? which one is better in terms of quality of washing ?

I bought this stuff the last time it was on sale and it works great. it all dissolves in cold water and i ill definitely buy again.

Used for three years in an HE washer...no issues...buy it and you will not be sorry.

Well I only have the one bath towel but it's kind of thin and two little hand towels. Other than that it's just clothing. Am I the only one who doesn't wash his jeans after every use?

I wouldn't say it is the "greatest" detergent out there (not like Tide) but it is good and at this price I can say it is the best you can get if the price-performance ratio is important to you. We (family of 4) have been using it for years now since it was first posted here. We try to get 5 or more and a time and it last until it gets posted again (6 months to a year). Very good detergent at a great price. By the way we used to have a regular washer now we have a HE and it works great on both machines.

nah bro...during the winter jeans are washed after typically 3 wears (depends on what I do and how long). summer 1-2 wears depending on usage.

You must really stink up those clothes. Five loads a weeks is excessive. Bath towels last a good week if hung properly. Jeans pants are good for several wears usually.

It also depends on the washer size. I have a front loader and can fit a months worth of towels (changing out weekly including bath mats) in one load so towels once a month. I can fit all our sheets in one load with room left over.

We have enough whites for us to only have to wash every two weeks.
We do a load of colors including levis once a week.

So we average 2 loads a week for 3 of us. If we had a top loader the number of washes would triple and they would never be as clean.
