Likewise, the Canon 60d and 18-135mm goes for $831+tax through Canon Loyalty, so, even though its refurbished (mine came with about 200 actuation's), it involves less risk and is cheaper

This is an ebay daily deal, not an auction or personal listing. I don't see why someone wouldn't get the rebate, I have seen tons of SLR deals on Ebay lately and they are legit
the cameras in the loyalty program only have 90 day warranty.
Decisions, decisions

I'm thinking $1375 - $150 (printer sale) - $250 (lens sale) - $400 (mail in rebate) = $575 For the 60D Body. It's $687.14 after tax for for me for the Canon Loyalty, but that seems like a lot of work for $112 and 9 more months of warranty. I guess if I bought it with Amex, it's new and it would qualify for an additional year.
It's definitely tempting. Are the printer and lens selling prices realistic though?
Decisions, decisions
I had this printer and all I could get was $90 for it. I live in a small apartment so keeping it wasn't an option. Maybe if I waited longer I could have got a little more, but it wasn't worth it to me. I'm just warning people to not expect to get a lot for this printer since the market is flooded with them. I'd recommend keeping it if you can since it's supposed to be great. It's just gigantic.
1375 - 400 - 75 (lens) - $150 (lens) = 750 for the body.
I wouldn't recommend buying unless you absolutely need the lens(and the body). A lot of work is involved getting the rebate, selling the lens and the printer.
