I got a 7-piece set of Victorinox knives for $41.xx from Cooking.com on BF. Love em. I'm looking for an 8" serrated knife though. Any deals on them?

This is a great knife, I use it everyday - quite possibly the best bang for the buck out there. Yes, it is stamped, not forged, but it's quite sharp, easy to steel and I actually prefer the lighter weight for my style of prep.

Been using the santoku version of this for over three years now. Best go-to budget knife on the market that competes EASILY against 'better' brands.
YES, it is stamped.

Sharpens easily with a cheap lansky ceramic rod or whatever else you have available.
This is the rod I continually recommend [amazon.com]
