I wonder what they do differently to the ones labeled "water/shock proof" than any others. I wonder this because I have washed more than a couple of flash memory cards and never had a problem with them not working after they dried out.

And shockproof (meaning vibration/impact, not electrical shock)? Really? I could drop one accidentally and it wouldn't be damaged? You don't say!

Don't see why not - you can save yourself 10 bucks by getting a class 4 [amazon.com] tho. The only real difference is when you're putting music on. The read speeds are roughly the same.

So Class 10 only offers faster write speeds? I thought the read speeds would also be faster with Class 10 vs Class 4?

The higher class can help if you utilize high resolution video recording. I believe that phone is capable of 1080p video recording so that can certainly benefit from the faster sustained write speeds.
