Thanks OP. I almost bought the B60 model a few weeks back at around this price.
EDIT: Home model coming out soon, commercial model coming out in fall
So far only one model of the Vue brewer appears to have any details listed for it, and it has a retail price of $249.99.

WATERBURY, VT -- Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. is rolling out the premium Keurig Vue home brewer, which allows consumers to control the strength, size and temperature of their beverages. A commercial model for the away-from-home market will debut this fall.
The premium brewer, intended to draw in high-end cappuccino and latte drinkers, will help Green Mountain manage increased competition as its K-Cup patents are due to expire in September, some observers are saying.

If the patents are going to expire I suspect we will see quite a few machines and kcups dirt cheap in the coming year.

That is what a lot of people are predicting. Many companies will eventually start selling them and once the dust settles, the prices will be much cheaper and much closer to what they should be selling for.
is it possible to get this exchanged for other colors in store after I receive it? I don't think she will let me put this color in her kitchen.
edit: looks like there's also a link in post #38 for another kuerig compatible reusable filter that is a little bit cheaper, called an "Eko-Brew". I have never tried that one, but it has a higher review rating than the Kuerig one that I own and posted about above.

It does not come with a reusable filter. You'll want something like this. [amzn.com] My wife uses one and she loves it because she can use any brand/flavor of coffee she wants. Sometimes K-cups can be limited, especially when looking for decaf in B&M.
