I just clean and refill it myself with some stuff carried by Giant/Martin's grocery called iso-blu alcohol. It has rubbing alcohol, camphor, eucalyptus, glycerin, and menthol in it; been doing this for about a year without a problem. Each refill costs me about $0.50 this way. Just a heads up, if you are a risk taker/cheapskate like me.

Damn, you had to go confuse me.... How do I know which one mine is? I still have the old box from my last 3-pack with a code 'CCR 3' on the box, UPC of 069055838150. The packaging looks the same as both the OP's and your link - which is correct?

BTW I own the Braun 8985.

EDIT: Ahh I just got the OP's product, if I have to return with Amazon or exchange with my local BB&B; I'll deal with it then rather than research and debate about this until the deal is dead and I miss out.

I just added high percentage (91% I think) isoprophyl alcohol in my refill container for several years. I might replace the container with a new one after I filled it up 3 times. I never had a problem. I would also make sure to brush all the excess hair out of my razor before cleaning it.

I just recently switched razors for something I could use in the shower. I really think these cleaning refills are a huge waste of money. Good luck to all.

I have the Braun 790cc, will this work?

I ordered this as I'm down to my last one. On my last one I've been re-capping the re-fill as this stuff evaporates so quickly. Can't last more than a month or two if I leave it uncapped in the base station.

I might try the regular 90%+ isoprophyl alcohol suggestion above next time
