Be warned, its got a great design but some of the execution is lacking. The grommets will fall off if you sneeze and the HDD trays are very easily bent. Also the included case fans aren't the quietest. I would advise buying some quieter fans with the savings, and you will be very happy with this case!

And who really cares if the USB 3.0 is on the back panel or the front? Is that worth all that extra money?
I would think you would be better spending the difference on a better graphics card, an SSD and/or more memory.
I also like the NZXT H2 white which I saw at MC and I fell in love with it. I haven't seen the R3 in person, but just by the pics the NZXT H2 looks more roomy.

But there are a variety of reasons why someone might want to spend money on a case.
1) Case is probably the only component that you would be able to use from system to system without ever having to upgrade.
2) Some people move their case around (lan parties and such) and thus it has to be durable as well as good looking
3) Some people don't keep their case under their desk, whether it's because there's no room, or if it's a HTPC and meant to fit into a rack with other AV equipment.
4) General quality of the case. Worksmanship of the case is worth something and people like stuff like cable management. Also, better airflow, better design, lower noise, etc.
and also, the USB 3.0 port on the back vs the front is actually a pretty big deal. I keep my system sitting next to my desk in the corner of the room. I literally cannot see behind my system if I want to plug something into the USB 3.0 port without moving it. And with things like USB 3.0 flash drives and external hard drives becoming more popular, I don't want to have to move my tower every time I want to plug something in.
