This combo is reg $39.99 and was $25 + $3 yesterday. This is a better combo/deal than the 3BB 5' UL deal for $17-$18. Note the Graphite rod (other was fiberglass) with choice of 4 different pole lenghs, 3 different powers, graphite reel seat and one additional bearing (4 ball bearings total). .

Not a fisher or griller but planning a family trip this summer and there have been a number of grill deals, and now this fishing pole deal :o

The reel is matched to the length/action of the rod. You will see the line capacity differ among each choice. I would say the smaller two combos will work for most lighter fishing applications.
I got the 6' 6" and my quarry are trout and bass 3-7 lb. and catfish to 15 lb.

Can anyone suggest what tackles/poles/lines to use. Absoutely novice but have cast and caught a fish before once before in my life.
Also since my son is very young and doesnt know swinmming I need to be a few feet away from the slopping lake. Will this be long enough?
