Everyone who doesn't have the LOTR trilogy on BD should wait for the EE to go on sale. I'm still waiting because Walmart.com was always OOS whenever I wanted to order it at $35, and when they got more back in stock they jacked the price up, but I'm going to keep waiting for $35 or less.

Also, I stopped ordering from Inetvideo years ago because the majority of stuff I got from them was Canadian, and that's fine until you decide you want to trade in a movie when you'll find the UPC does not match the US version and you'll have a heck of a time finding any store (or Amazon) who will take it as a used trade-in (they might as well say "Canadian... no way, eh, like radiation has made it an enemy of civilization"). Most people seeing a Canadian version at a garage sale will ask why it has French on it and pass. So plan to keep these forever if you buy.

Then on top of that the theatrical US BDs were $5 each at Walmart on BF, so $22.99 is pretty steep.

How good of a deal is this? I have seen the extended editions for $35 before but is the extra $$$ worth a little more reel time?

So quit trading. If you want it temporarily, rent it. Seems to make more sense perhaps?

You're missing my point. I rarely trade, but I like to have the option to do that in case someday I want to get rid of something I've bought. If you get a Canadian version from Inetvideo.com, you will have trouble trading it in at most places in the US. That's all I was saying.
