According to posts on Woot, it is somewhere in between. According to those posts, it measures 2.39' by 3.84". Thats's a pretty big mouse at 2.39 feet though.

Does the mouse still have the transceiver getting hot and burning out issues? The reviews on Amazon don't sound very promising when it comes to reliability.

how is battery life? 8 months on the same batteries seems hard to swallow. I had a wireless before i switched back to wired to save batteries.

Seems possible unless you use it as a gaming mouse. Both the Logitech and Microsoft portable mice I own seem to last 6-8 months of normal use (email, web, office, etc).

Good mouse. Battery life is great. The "works virtually anywhere" claim is accurate-ish and excludes glass. I didn't like the thumb buttons being thumb & pinky buttons.

I prefer (and can't recommend enough) the Logitech Anywhere MX (usually can be had on sale or w/rebate for around $30-40) because it will literally work anywhere, including on glass.
