I have a seperate faxmachine, and 2 scanner/ copiers.
The ink runs out on these quickly because all printers only come with whats called a 'starter' ink cartridge.
I love it when people complain how bad a printer is and how expensive this ink is.They save so much money on ink with what they have set up but then FAIL to tell anyone else what printer they use and where they get their $1 ink.
I've had this printer in my amazon cart for a while, waiting for the price to drop. Today when I logged in, it was down to $22.98 so I checked newegg to see if they were cheaper too. I was coming to post this deal...good thing I did a search first.

12 cartridges for under $10, with chip. Total ink volume is much higher than your cartridge, as well.
I love it when people read the thread before ranting.
If you don't believe me when I say you can get $1 ink, AND are too lazy to google it yourself (after deciding which priinter works best for you), that's on you. It's not my job to spoonfeed you.

Call it what you want, but by any definition, my posts are more valuable to this thread than yours. What good exactly have YOU provided potential printer purchasers? I saved them money. You just wasted their time.
Oh, by the way, the word is "you're".
how much do you guys think these could be resold for if i remove the ink?
I recommend getting any of the Canon printers with independent color cartridges. The cartridges can be replaced cheaply with generics for $1 a cartridge, and recycled at $2 a cartridge at Staples. So ink is essentially less than free.
Only get this model if you never plan to use it.
