Demon's Souls (PS3 Game) $12 (expired)

Note that the multiplayer portion of this will be gone by the end of May.

While servers will close at the end of May, it is still very enjoyable as a single player game.

Some people absolutely love this game while most people absolutely hate it. I wouldn't touch this thing with a 10 foot pole. You have to be a complete masochist or hate yourself to buy thing thing.

It's not as difficult as people made it out to be.

That is because people are too used to hand-holding, easy games that are pretty much all that exists today. I absolutely loved Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. Sure there are times where I was yelling at my TV and rage quit, but I always went back.

Not to mention, the online aspect of the game is genius. Sure there are some problems with the online portion, but for the most part it works really well. For $12, this is worth trying, even if you aren't sure if you will like it.

yep, not really for casuals.

Just play a sword person w/ bow. Then the game is much easier than relying on magic the whole time. Look up boss strategies on youtube and you are set.

"Most" people is a misnomer. I would say that of the people who bought it, most loved it while some found the difficulty off-putting. If you stick with Demon's Souls it is an immensely rewarding game. Seriously, I can't remember the last game I sunk this much time into and genuinely enjoyed as much as this and its sequel, Dark Souls.

Wanted to love this game, but just didn't like the combat enough to go past a few hours.
