Not sure what you are getting at here. I purchased these the last time they came around. These are good batteries. I haven't had any problems using them in the multitude of baby toys that I have littered around the home and have greater longevity than some of the more recent batteries that i've purchased.

What makes this a bad deal? This is a great deal on batteries, especially the C and D size. Cheaper than Amazon basics and definitely the name brands while being excellent batteries.

Good luck with that. I purchased 40 "Duracell" batteries from a SD a couple months ago and got the crappy chinese version. 10 of the batteries tested half deal, 4 were completely dead, and I do not have confidence in the rest being much better.
