True that. I'd rather save the $18 than constantly live in fear of my bike crashing on my new X6 M.

Also even if nothing breaks and everthing is properly installed whats stopping your seat post from slipping out? That tiny pressure clamp on your bike? lol.
Also important to note, each lift has quite a bit of extra rope that will need to be mounted and wrapped around a cleat on the wall. In my case, I have 4 extra ropes going in different directions connected to my garage walls.
These lifts are not kid friendly and should be used by adults or adult supervision.
Just my 2 cents, but hope it helps others.
Also make sure you have them in a stud when you put them up. I went with aligning it to the nail on the dry wall on the garage, but turns out the builder didn't line it up properly and it eventually fell. GET A STUD FINDER!
