Only available at Walmart and only select WM's at that. Use the store checker on G-Oil's website to see which local WM's should stock it. Can also look up the G-Oil on WMs website and check availability (I picked up some this weekend for the last rebate in a store that was showing out of stock online but had plenty when I looked in the store, so you never know)
Is anyone else getting paranoid? I have participated in about 5 of these offers so far and have been paid on 4 of them (I just submitted a claim that ended 4/22/12). Now that they are offering back to back rebates so close apart is getting me nervous.

They Updated The Rebate Form! It Now reads: G-OIL Earth DAY GT12-8489 <- for the 1 quart
The 5 qt jug rebate reads "G-OIL Earth Month Celebration GT12-8421".
Heads Up: The rebate for the 5qt jug is the same "Earth Month" offer, if you got in on it last time then you will not be eligible to do it again. However, the 1qt is a new offer. http://slickdeals.net/forums/show...stcount= 19
You can track the rebates at www.rapid-rebates.com.

You can usually find a local lab that will do it cheaper. If you are having trouble finding one call your nearest cement-mix company and ask them what lab they use for their oil analysis on their mixers.
These tests are not exceptionally useful, but it will tell you if your oil is holding up and if your engine is having problems of a certain type.
And for your car just stick to 5000k intervals. Won't be a problem.
Makes sense.
Any recommendations for a good floor jack? Something quality that will last many years but not over the top. Aiming for $150 or less. Any tips appreciated, thanks!

The only thing I can caution is that synthetic cleans better then dino. If you have an older car that's had dino all it's life then you may have some sludge blocking some oil leaks. People with older cars that switch to synthetic sometimes start to develop oil leaks. This is the only thing I know of and it doesn't always happen either.
Do people not know that synthetic blend oils exist?

Also, the post-switch leaking with the synthetic to blame events are rare or non-existent. My uncle's shop is going on 500 switches with zero resulting leaks since they switched to synthetic only 3 years ago.
Edited for your viewing pleasure.

Aside from that, you can watch out for NAPA sales - their jacks are normally pretty decent - or wait for Sears to put their 3-ton jack and jackstands on sale. You want to make sure and get a good set of jackstands, too - a jack is only to jack a car up, and you never want to get under a car without jackstands or something similar under a hard point.
The scissors jacks that come with cars are emergency-use only and sketchy at that. Useful when you have a flat on the side of the road; they have no place whatsoever in any other situation.
I'm not spoiled either, I bought a used floor jack for 50 bucks off Craigslist after selling my weak Torin Jack from pep boys. Don't mess around with raising your car, you want to use the right tools for the job in this case. Actually I don't even use a jack to change my oil, I have a set of 12k rhino ramps.
What do you think of bottle jacks? Would you trust one? Would you believe they're commonly used them to jack up $30 million aircraft, to change tires and brakes? Just as small, light enough for 1 person to carry it by hand, with small levers to pump by hand, with optional bar to pump with more leverage.
You sound spoiled to me. How often do those ramps come in handy, besides for oil changes?
