Um, I care. Anyone can post a thread on this forum claiming anything under the sun. But as it stands there is nothing to validate this deal.

I'm sure plenty of other people care as well.

edit: Not trying to tc, but I don't think asking for validation or questioning a deal from someone with no reps and no proof is out of line. So get butt hurt if you want.

i work at a newspaper. do you think the flyers that get inserted into a newspaper show up on night they are to be sent out? no of course not....they arrive weeks, sometimes months earlier.

Please do not take offense to the questions about the deal prior to your posting of pictures. I am certain that it had nothing to do with you and more to do with the fact that it IS a very good deal and many times the old saying is true about something sounding too good to be true.

For reference, I very vividly recall the (insert eye roll here) HP TOUCHPAD posting. MANY did NOT believe that there could be such a drastic price cut without proof. You know the rest of the story.

Your deal is in the same category since the gift card makes this kindle slightly more than half price.
We all want to believe it but with gas prices being what they are (no one wants to go on the hunt), and some of the attention that people crave here, it is natural to question this deal (so far in advance) without some proof. Thanks for sharing it with us!

i cant get by you old timers, i guess when i post the proof, you and the rest can eat crow. apparently somebody who has only been on the site for seven months has nothing better to do than post a fake.... i def will be thinking twice before i bother to post a deal again i can promise you that. maybe giving people a heads up on a bargain weeks ahead of time is more than they can handle.

ironic as the hp touchpad is what directly contributed to me being on this site. i never got one, but have purchased many great deals since! thanks to all.

oh and the black friday ads? those actually are the ones that tend not to arrive until very close to the day. i think i actually found them online before we received them at work.

walmarts april 29th flyer has the 6in kindle with wi-fi for 79 bucks plus a 30 gift card. i cannot find the flyer online, but i do have a hard copy. so this is legit.
