Works fine in cold water here, but we have really soft water. Note that it's compatible with HE washers.

I bought 4 180 load boxes with a $10 off 50 last year, and we're still on the first. Not bad for $10.50 a box.

I see this is HE, how does this compare to the orange box?

I got the 180 load for 11 bucks and thought that was a good deal. This stuff is good. It cleans well. Doesn't really have much of a scent which I like. Seems to dissolve just as well as the gain powder I was using before.

I bought one...not bad it if lasts almost a year.. we typically buy liquid, and it costs $8...lasts a month...this is way cheaper!

Cool I just got my wife a new set of pots and pans...now a 1,000+ loads of laundry detergent to go with it...she's going to be so happy. I might get her a new sweeper next week.

Can anyone clarify me: how does this one compare to Tide detergent? we've been using the same brand and just thinking jumping on this deal. thanks

Considering I was happy with the 180 loads for ~$12 after tax, this is a smoking deal. Just got confirmation on 4 for pickup. The $5 off $50 helps offset the tax.

Thanks! Have been using it for 6-7 years now. The 26 lbs buckets used to go on sale like this more often than the 180 load. I usually buy the box of detergent and dump it in the remainin bucket that these used to come in. With a sealing lid, it doesn't clump up, as it will in an open bag that is in the box.

It takes us about a year to go through a 180 load box, since you only need half a scoop for HE washer, essentially making it last 360 loads, or one a day.

The included scoop is for non-HE washers, since you can use HE detergent in a non-HE washer, but not the other way around.

The 275 load box should last 550 loads in an HE washer or 1 - 1/2 years if you do a load of laundry every day!

But, don't use in cold water. You need to buy detergent specifically formulated for cold water, even with Tide, you can't use it in cold water, unless it is "cold water Tide"

You only need half a scoop for HE machine.
