This is a great deal, especially now that ICS rom development has picked up steam. Developer HashCode on XDA has released a 3.0 kernel that is working wonders on this device. You can turn a gimped tablet into a full-fledged Android 4.04 machine.

This is the news from Target, so perhaps they will sell $200*.7 = $140 Plus tax for a new Kindle fire tomorrow
It came basically looking brand new. Package had the AC charger and Kindle Fire (no manual or USB cable). You will want a Micro-B USB cable (like the Blackberry one). Included 1 year warranty and 1 month of Amazon Prime.
Kindle Fire is easily root-able and you can install any custom ROM you want. I'm currently running Energy ICS CM9 3.0 Kernel [xda-developers.com]. If you're not comfortable with cmd line, there is a utility [xda-developers.com] that can do all these commands for you.

Thanks !
yep they;; give you a free returning label for that.. no questions asked.. thats why i love buying from amazon.
I ordered first thing in the morning so my 2 day shipping gets it here for Friday. I had tried to get it changed to 1 day but it was after the cut-off and so 1 day would have also got it here on Friday.
despite Amazon's initial May 8 delivery estimate, it got an email today stating it shipped and will be delivered tomorrow.
how many of you will put ICS on it? i already have a HP Touchpad with ICS alpha 2, so I'll try out Amazon's OS for a while. no point of having 2 tablets with buggy ICS ports LOL. I found this video review on Youtube posted a few days ago.
