Yes, I confirmed with a newegg rep. If you refuse the package, you get a full refund. If you accept the package, you have to go through the return RMA process. Also, I verified that there is no restocking fee on unopened boxes.

Nice. I'm always looking for deals on new cards, I admittedly have this problem with "collecting" video cards when I find deals. LOL I'd have snapped that one up at that price, but got pretty busy the past year and wasn't on slickdeals as often. All the benchies have the 6870 at best 5-10% better than the Sapphire 5830 I have right now, although I'm always looking for a better FPS per watt ratio, sooooo.... Oh well, I think the 7 series will be a nice jump in that area since they are so much more power efficient.

I have the same card but it was picking up another for crossfire? probably not gonna buy new parts for 3 or so years

I haven't had problems with the rebate card.
Do the rebate ASAP and be prepared to wait the entire 6-8 weeks.

I disagree... while AMD and Nvid fight it out and start a price war with the 670 and 7950... this will lower the price of all cards across the board.
