I had the Kayano 16's and they lasted a while. I've been buying the cumulus for training and wear my puma faas 250's for races. They're all great shoes, but you really need to go to a running store to get the best fit. There's a local running store near me that does an awesome job fitting people with shoes. They watch you walk barefoot across the room, on a treadmill, and have you run outside with different shoes on to get the best fit. Robert's Running & Walking Store FTW!

I should get some Kayanos then...I hurt myself while running outside..I have a NB 993...don't think it is a very good shoe...didn't know anything about running shoes when i bought my 993s

I bought the Kayano 17 for 67.46 in December 2011 from Amazon. I was hoping that they would be cheaper by now considering that the Kayano 18 is already in the market....

Oh well. They are pretty good shoes though.

I bought mine (Women's 6.5) last month from Nordstrom Rack for $80 as well. These feel like clouds! & I did not size down/up. Good deal imo! (:

Got 3 pairs of 2 diff kinds of shoes and 2 pair of shorts. Dont think I will keep all the shoes. Depends on what fits.

The deal has been around for quite a while now though... I got my Kayano 17s from STP w/35% off code almost 2 months ago now, my size sold out ages ago.

Also I do not size up in these shoes either. I've been wearing my current pair of 17s for about a year (and wore the 15s before that) and they have been great. I'm glad I have another pair on hand now.

I keep three pairs of running shoes in rotation. My Kayano 18's are very nice I wish they had my size in the 17's as I am close to retiring a pair of shoes. I guess thats what is nice about having multiple pairs of shoes in rotation, you can wait for a good deal when one pair is close to being done. That and shoes have a longer life when you rotate.
