Finally got my double edge razor in from the earlier Amazon deal and found this brush on sale for one of the lower prices it's been according to camelcamelcamel. The quality may not be excellent but for $7.95 with free shipping, it's hard to go wrong.

Good find OP. A word of caution to buyers, you will need a stand for this brush especially considering that it has a wood handle, because wood is prone to cracking if you do not dry it properly. As long as the user dries the brush bristles down, any excess water will drip off and prevent the wood handle from cracking.
"Yes, true" and if you haven't noticed this in the price range (from multiple sellers)..I would start looking harder.
If you would not wear a fur coat, then you probably shouldn't buy this brush.

I use it with a straight razor, stropped on a leather strap. I could talk about it for hours, but let's just say that if you shave with a badger hair brush and a straight razor stropped on leather, you'll never go back.
