The G620 and 850 are not in the core line of processors (i3 i5 i7), they are below them. Best bet would be to combo this with an i3 2100 from microcenter for 89.99.

The pentiums are below the Core i3.

Great performance for such low price. I want to say you can wait long enough and get the pentium lineup for around the 60-75 range.

recently got a similar ECS motherboard, everything worked fine. but the overclocking function is a bit complicated. I coudn't figure out how to overclock with ECS motherboards yet.

I tried to increase the intrnal CPU clock rate from 200 MHz to 204MHz. The system went unstable. thats it I stopped there.

Overall this is good deal for guys who doesn't need any overclocking.

I've had horrible luck with ECS in the past - this is definitely not a performance motherboard. I would seriously consider your options before purchasing this for your i5/i7 sandy bridge, but if you're going Pentium or i3 this could be a great option. The price is sure right!

Intel has made things quite easy for everyone. If you plan to overclock with a K chip, spend a bit more cash on a motherboard with good voltage regulations to support that endeavor. If you are going to get a non-K chip, buy the cheapest board you can with the features you need, ie SATA connectors, USB3, etc. They all perform the same in this day and age.
