The recommendation for best lens is buy the 14 mm Panasonic and the 20 mm and/or more expensive 25 mm (both Panasonic). Also get a 45 mm. These are all prime lens. The 14 - 45 lenses and the 45 - 150 Olympus and 45 - 200 Panasonic will not give the same high quality photos as these prime lenses. Many use the 14, 20, or 25 mm for 95% of their photos. These prime lenses make the m4/3 cameras into much better cameras than the kit lenses like the 14-45. The Olympus 12 mm is better than the Panasonic 14 mm but it costs much, much more than the 14 mm with this camera or via eBay. You can probably buy two prime for the price of the Olympus 12 mm. You will have to wait some unknown amount of time for either the 20 or 25 to come back in stock or overpay of them on eBay.

Read reviews of any of these prime lenses at the various photo equipment review sites for more information.

If anyone buys this and wants to unload the 14mm lens cheap, I'm interested. I bought the body for $397 from Crutchfield and it came with the 14-42 lens free. I've also added the 45-200mm zoom and I'm happy with all of it. I just think it would be cool to experiment with the 14mm also.

PS If I hadn't already bought mine, I would be buying this today as it's a great price and then adding the 14-45mm individually.

they can be had for similar price no? thing is, if im gonna carry something bulky like that, ill pay more to get at least more current generation t3i or better.

i like the gf2 cause it has that, hot shoe? is that what its called lol.. to put external flash and other accessories.

So for comparison you jump straight to an ep3 and just outright skip epl2 or epm1, which both could be found around $300 or less on cameta (granted factory demo). If I had to take btw the two to use, I would still go with the olympus.
