As for this sale... Almost everything is OOS. It was all in stock this morning, but slowly all sold out. At least all the good deals are gone.
When I clicked on above links, it said it was oos, but then I searched for it and it allowed me to put it in my cart and later buy it.

The one purchased for the 7 year old has held up well and is played with almost daily. It eats batteries like a digital camera does, especially since the child forgets to turn it off. Leaving it on all night because you forgot to turn it off is the fastest way to empty the batteries. The 9 year old used rechargeable batteries with his, and I don't know if it was the brand of batteries used (Energizer), the charger that was used, or some other factor, but the rechargeable batteries always made it sound distorted, regular batteries made the sound crystal clear.
I had a chance to play with the drum set on a couple of occasions. My thought is that the Singing Machine Digital Drum Set is more fun, but also more expensive (I picked it up for around $25 on sale last time). The 7 year old loves the Paper Drumz because they are the "it" thing at his school right now. I think they are a fad, and they will die down, but for now, I think they can easily entertain a 6-10 year old.
