NOTE; These can't be shipped to IL, NC and NY because of recycling laws.
Mechanical Keyboards are separated by tactile feel (a small bump you feel when the key is actuated), tactile click (a click you hear when a key is actuated), and resistance (level of pushback on keys as you press them).
Reds have very low resistance and no tactile feel or tactile click. They are for those who can touch type very quickly and don't need any sense of feedback.
Blacks have high resistance and no tactile feel or tactile Click. They were generally made for FPS gamers who hold down several keys at once and didn't need the tactile click or feel. However, many feel that Reds are better than blacks for this purpose.
Blues have medium resistance, a tactile feel, AND a tactile click. They are most like the old IBM keyboards. They clack and give a satisfying bump when you actuate a key. They are the typical mechanical keyboard though many will have issue with the all the sound produced. They are preferred by some typists and RTS Gamers.
Browns (not on sale for as much) have medium resistance, tactile feel, but NO tactile click. They are blues without as much sound. Many feel they are the best compromise/switch that allows you to keep the "feel" of a mechanical keyboard without the noise. They are preferred by typists who like the tactile bump and RTS gamers (similar to the blue).

I’m hesitant though to make the purchase as there seems to be 3 common complaints by the reviewers at Newegg...
1 - The mini USB connector on the back of the board becomes loose and causes the keyboard to not function. This problem is prevalent and appears to be a design flaw. You are almost virtually guaranteed to have problems with the USB connector if you are not extremely careful.
2 - The printing on the keys are low quality and quickly fade over time.
3 - The spacebar is not properly lubricated and will make slight squeaking sounds. Not a big deal IMO
I have my eye on the Corsair Vengeance K90 keyboard but the Rosewill is about half the price and so very tempting. I need something that is reliable though and apparently the Rosewill board has some major quality control issues.
Some feedback from those who purchased the Rosewill would be greatly appreciated. I would love to save about $50 by purchasing it rather than the Corsair Vengeance K90.
the usb issue is apparently an older issue and should not be there anymore. the printing on the key issue may be there or not, im not sure but the kb is covered by newegg for 3 years.
pretty much all mech keyboards may or may not have squeak issues with the larger keys, so this issue is not exclusive to rosewill. my kb im using right now is not rosewill but had the squeak. it's a 5 minute fix if you have it.

I'm just dropping by to say don't be a pansy and get a Brown just because you're a coward (or gamer). I did, and had to go back and get a Blue. It's amazing. You only live once. Might as well use a Blue.

1. I've never seen this issue, although I don't move my keyboard around a lot. I have disconnected the cable a few times with no issue and never noticed a wiggle.
2. Not sure what the definition of "quick" is, neither of my keyboards show any fading yet.
3. My first keyboard did make the squeaking sound. I went to the hardware store, bought a small thing of silicon grease (was in the plumbing section). Dabbed a little bit on the little loop on both sides of the bar. Never heard it squeak again. Second keyboard never had the issue to begin with.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these keyboards, especially at this price.
