Its hard to believe, but there was a safety announcement about USING Banana Boat sunscreen. I would imagine that it was not the sunscreen that caught fire, but perhaps the propellant (good old funny-fuel / nitrous oxide / laughing gas).

This will make me think twice about letting the kids immediately run on the hot coals (JK).

The best Banana Boat ones are only rated at 3. The breakdown looks even worse, with the higher numbers going to some of the cancer-related ingredients.

Have any of you tried the new 2 in 1 Banana Boat Combo Sunscreen? Can be use as a sunscreen and as lighter fluid.

Eating a healthy "primal" diet makes your body far better equipped to protect itself from sun damage without sunscreen at all. Seeking at least some shade rather than exposing yourself to the rays all day long isn't a bad idea either.
