Anyone know where these are made now? Irwin tools used to be mostly made-in-U.S. but sadly they seem to have moved all production to China now.

Based on what I said above, I'm pretty sure (90+ % likely) that they are made in China.

[further info] -- I notice that the photo shows Marples even though they are listed as Irwin. I found the following comment on another forum:
I read threads about the Marples chisels and how they are a better choice being made in England, I get that.

Now why am I seeing Irwin Marples chisels at Menards that are made in China? I think someone is trying to fool me. Is Marples a trade name for a certain type of chisel and only some are made in England?

And Marples = Irwin?

I think as long as your total is over $50 you can use the code. The site is seeing the total of 2 sets as $59.98 so that is why it is working.
