New to discountmags; is there a way to get more than one year?

Sweet deal. The Economist is one of few magazines worth buying. Thank you OP.

My subscription is running out, and I'm glad this came up, I've been looking for a deal on it. I need a different perspective from Bloomberg Business which I just started receiving from the other $12 slickdeal.

No but this offer does appear more than once a yr so you should be able to renew the next time it appears on SLICKDEALS...

I suppose you could buy 2 subs and then contact ECONOMIST to have them merged into a 2yr sub...

Great magazine. The only problem is that there is so much info in each issue that you'll end up feeling bad if you either (1) have to skip articles or (2) end up getting behind by weeks or more.

If you use the exact same name and address they'll normally merge them without you even having to call.

The Economist is well worth $1 an issue, personally I always use airmiles to renew, rather than losing the miles due to inactivity, and the miles I have in some accounts are not enough for a ticket. Delta is 3,200 miles for a one year subscription.

One thing that has been happening a lot lately is that it doesn't arrive until Monday or Tuesday. For some people that might not matter, but if I'm travelling on business it sucks to not have it when I leave Monday - my wife would disagree because it means she gets to read it instead...

At this price, you don't have to feel bad if you don't read the whole thing. I toss last week's edition when the new one comes, read or unread. (Sigh. I miss when I worked in a bigger city and could take public transportation to work and actually got through all my magazines. It is difficult to read magazines while driving a car.)

This is the sort of mag you get with AIRLINE MILES, people. It's always on the list, and it is well worth the 3,000 or so miles to get it.
