It comes with a single 2GB stick installed and has two slots, so you can either buy a single 4GB stick [newegg.com] to bump it up to 6GB, or get 2x4GB [newegg.com] and up it to 8GB How to upgrade the memory and hard drive: http://www.jrin.net/2012_02_02/ho...n-1121-11z VIDEO: Windows WEI Scores and SSD Boot Comparison: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wyHg_pPfx9A VIDEO: Upgrading Memory on Inspiron 11z: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhEeVJmtTG4 VIDEO: Upgrading Hard Drive on Inspiron 11z: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBnTYPBF5WI Cpu Information: CPU Benchmark is ~1200 [cpubenchmark.net] Memory Information: The i3-330UM will only run your memory at 800mhz. I'd consider this a netbook
I been really REALLY happy with this little mini for portable use.
Even the older i3 kicks AMD fusions ass (comparing with my x120e) with the only exception coming on gaming. For daily use including light photoshop, this thing has been amazing. I have my x120e to my girl so she could have a portable laptop. While AMD is suppose to have a better GPU performance for some reason it stutters when playing 1080p while this thing plays it flawlessly.
Cons - glossy screen, bit heavier than x120e, build quality is a bit fragile compare to the lenovo.

I am very satisfied with it.
compare to?
Yes, but it uses far less power than a normal i3. This is a fast netbook, not a slow laptop. It will crush any Atom or E-series you put in front of it. And depending on what you use it for (probably just web browsing/word processing) you don't need to upgrade the ram.
