Ooma Telo VoIP for $99. [groupon.com]
These are NEW and NOT refurbished (Most discounted Ooma boxes seem to be refurbished)
Box requires Premier Service only for 10 months, and then you can go back to paying no monthly fee.
If you wish to port your #, and use premier anyway, this is worth it.
Includes FREE # Porting, which saves $40!
From what I see, if you were leaning to Ooma, want a new box, and would go w/ Premier, I this is the best deal I have seen yet.
I personally have the Hub/Scout and have never had a problem. I have a 10MB internet speed package from Time Warner, and calls have been crystal clear.

Consumer Reports (June 2012) rated Ooma #1 over all other phone services, period. They rated over 25 VOIP, Landline and Fiber-Optic phone companies.
Note: Requires a 10-Month Premier Subscription
possible 15% CASHBACK by buying via Discover. (I think on the $99, not the $5 shipping) Some are saying the cashback doesnt apply to groupon goods. In the past, Ive bought deals that said that and still got the cashback. Ive even got cashback via the discover link when paying with Groupon bucks.
After 10 months monthly fee goes down to $4 or so per month (varies by state). This fee is mandatory and covers state and local taxes including 911. Ooma is therefore NOT free like googlevoice IS.

Awesome buy-been keeping my eyes peeled since the $99 International offer.
Repped.
Woot.
"Customer must also purchase 10 months of Premier service at $9.99 a month. "
Telo: $99 + $5 shipping
Premier [ooma.com] Service (required): $100 for 1st year ($10/m, 2 months free). Main benefit is caller name identification with caller id. Non premier only shows number.
There is also monthly tax and fees [ooma.com] charges at roughly $45 for whole year for e911 services.
Free number porting (normally $40) due to 1 year premier service signup. You can also choose a different gift such as Bluetooth (junk) or wireless adapter (decent) for Telo.
$99 (Telo) + $5 (shipping) + $100 (Premier service) + $45 (yearly tax estimate) = ~$249 1st year cost.
For most people with non-cable landline carriers you will recoup the cost within the first year. After the first year, you only pay monthly tax fees and you can decide whether to keep Premier or not.
Ignore people thread crapping with $20 digital cable phone plans as these are promotional rate packages for new customers. It's up to you to choose which VOIP service you prefer.
Main difference compared to Obi is Obi has no e911 service and less expensive. I never used it so I have no idea how good it is.
