check out d3's reviews on amazon
just my opinion
check out d3's reviews on amazon
Yes, and that was a while back. And I'd rather avoid attaching too much significance to Amazon's review rating averages of D3 as I really don't find it to be all that representative of the quality of the gaming experience. Titles like SC2 and D3 typically seem to bring out more of the QQ'ers.
I have about 50 hours into D3 and bought the CE big box (no big deal unless you want to have the cool box and book -- and it does come with D2 on USB flash drive if you end up deciding that was a better game for you, so I got that going for me, which is nice.)
I'm not going to rave about D3 being great because for me, it was a good experience, and I will put some more hours into it, but in the end I'd rather spend more time on massive RPGs like Oblivion, Dragon Age, and Skyrim. (and even some FF XIII-2). Very different from D3 -- just not my thing, but not a bad game at
[Edit, added:] And, yes, I am a bit sore about wanting to play single-player on the game I bought on the system I own, and I often to this in the mornings, and it seems like half the mornings, the D3 servers are down for updates or maintenance. Why do I need servers to run my single-player game on my system. So some of the negative reviews are deserved, but in fairness, I knew about this requirement when I bought it, so, it's a choice for the buyer if this bothers you or not...
