Hard to decide between 5d and d800
Some reports claim it is impossible to get any sharp shot with d800 without tripod. What about 5d, any chance to get a good picture from hands.

IMO you should not be debating over the 5D and the D800. If you have a canon set up, get the 5D. If you have a Nikon setup, get the D800. If this is your first SLR, you should be starting with a rebel or a D3100, not a 5D or a D800

I have the 7d and really want the 5dm3 for the amount if noise which is doesn't have compares to the 7d. Quite a price increase from the 7d, but the 5dm3 is one heck of a camera.

Canon lens are cheaper than nikons. I am stuck with old nikon lens and no new deals from nikons since last thanks giving.

If you already have a setup, go with that brand.
