WHEN DOES IT START?: - DEAL IS NOW LIVE!!!! Since few are reading the thread:
Newegg's servers are P.S.T. so the earliest the deal COULD go live is 12:01 A.M. P.S.T. ~= 2:00 A.M C.S.T. ~= 3:00 A.M. C.S.T.
That's generally when these deals (non-shell shockers) start at the crack of Midnight or reasonable as soon as the severs update after midnight.
Brief Recent Deal History:
@ $89 This is the same price that this SSD [Samsung 830 128GB] went on sale for w/ a code approximately one month ago. @ $0.70 per GB
The Samsung 830 64 GB followed a week or two later, but it was an advertised deal in one of N.E.'s flyers (not nearly the price per /GB deal this was @ $65 (I believe)
The Samsung 830 256 GB then immediately followed that deal for $189.99 or ~$.74 per GB - but there is a small performance gain going from the 128GB to the 256GB model
If you prefer Amazon or just because you've been there & you want to help another
SD'er get a shot at it...
Chances are SLIM TO NONE that Amazon will lift up her skirt and match a N.E. code deal didn't last time, but you only lose about 20 seconds trying to make it happen anyway.

Scroll almost to the bottom (2nd to last section) there is a narrow blue band titled: FEEDBACK (Feedback is in orange-ish lettering) Click the underscored blue lettering that says "tell us about a lower price?" Fill in the details (deal starts 7-9-2012) copy & paste Newegg's URL:

Price will be $89.99 and shipping $0.00
You may want to change the URL of the link so it is not a dumb SlickDeals referral link when you paste it into the Amazon feedback tool. Try and copy and paste this directly (if you still see the dumb referral link go to the webpage directly and copy and paste it out of your browsers URL bar).

If you are mounting this into a PC/Desktop many creative ways have been mentioned that cost little money.
=Tape: Use a type that doesn't leave a tape / sticky residue behind. Suggestion:
Do yourself a favor and buy a lifetime supply of 3M "Scotch" brand two sided tape for $5.00. It peels off clean when it needs to be removed (unlike regular two sided tape.). A little bit goes a long way; use two ½" x 1" squares front and back to mount an SSD. Extremely useful for applications around the house, garage, RV, etc. For Example [homedepot.com]
=For a cleaner look you could used Velcro on the under side, allowing for a solid hold, but easily removable when, if you ever need to.
=Zip Ties (a man with more tie wraps than common sense can do a lot.)
=Glue - it's an option - but least desirable method (avoid if at all possible--all the solutions above are better.)
For the squeamish or just plain lazy you can get the SATA Wire Notebook Hard Drive Upgrade Kit on Amazon for $14 AR. http://www.amazon.com/Apricorn-No...002EUCU3O/ A clean install might be nice but this is so easy to mirror everything onto your new SSD.
SOLD OUT!
