I tried a few years ago with a smaller TV with a mount that only attached to one stud and the whole piece of sheetrock started to bow out. I quickly changed my mind and put the TV back on the dresser.
I'm planning now on hitting 2 studs and using toggle bolts with this mount.
TIA
I bought a tv stand from a friend but it did not come with the tv mount part.. I've linked a picture to show what part it did not come with, the rest of the stand is there.
Will this wall mount work with my tv stand?

But I've got a 47" Panasonic (LED) on this one and it gives me all the in-out, left-right and tilt I want. Very sturdy.

i dont have a big TV yet, but i may buy one and keep it in a closet for in the future when we get a 40-50 inch TV
So what's the final word on it from people who own it? Is this a good quality mount? Seems to be some conflicting reports ITT
I agree this is a great deal, but I'd rather have a TV that doesn't potentially fall off of the wall unexpectedly.
And also FYI, the screw hole widths are sometimes different depending on the mount and size (e.g. the diameter for the screws used for a 70" is greater than that of a 42" - and yes I realize that this doesn't have to be the case) and smaller screws APPEAR to work in the larger holes when they actually don't. I have had this happen before and luckily caught it before finishing the install, but that'd be another concern of mine.
Yes, you can move it side to side a fair amount (~6-8", for me, 16" studs). The tilt works great for me, but I only tilted it a tiny bit. Install is easy, and is rock solid so far. Had it up for about 1 month.
Comes with good hardware and beefy lag screws.

.. in for one.. thx
Why would you trust $10 brake pads on a $20k car, especially when you have young kids riding in there?
Why would I trust a $1 toothbrush when there are much more expensive models, and gingivitis is no joke.
