If you never played the games that started resident evil off then hell yea the anthology is better. If you're from the new age bieber and under cod generation and re5 was one of your first then avoid the anthology.

I would be all over the Anthology if it actually included all of the games (granted I own a majority of them already). Also too bad they split them between the Anthology and the Archive and don't even include many (although some are understandable due to the platforms and whatnot). I'd pay a ridiculous amount for a complete collection that had every canon game.

I loved the fourth game, the 5th was okay, and I'm not having high expectations for RE6.

The first three games are actually scary and require skill to beat. I recommend starting there, plus you will learn the whole story.

the only thing ive noticed with ordering from newegg is that usually there are no preorder bonuses that other stores like amazon get

doesnt look like the code works for the anthology edition. Wow the xbox archives edition is really bad compared to the PS3 version.

yup... you remember when the first came out? damn that game was amazing. i even played the Japanese version, Biohazard, for the extra graphic videos and what not
there was absolutely nothing scary or "puzzle like" in the 5th. it was such a let down. sure the graphics were great, but who cares if the game isn't what it should be.

i've watched some videos or 6, it really doesn't look great. it'll hit the bargain bin fast, i'd just wait it out if you wanna play through.

yea looks like the code only works for the regular edition. Youll get a "The promo code EMCNCJG79 is for a product not in your shopping cart. Please check your promo code and try again" error if you try to buy the anthology
