activating phone with the $30/month 100 min, Unlimited data plan
I was able to this in less than 5 minutes using a $30 refill card.

In the Select Plan, it listed the $30 plan (100 mins + Unlimited data...); Just select it and continue.
Note: it took off only 26.xx from the $30 refill card and left a balance of $3.xx (giving credit for the starting balance on the Sim card).

As one of the people that has bought this phone I am hoping this is not the case and even with "known issues" I would bet it is still hit or miss. You can find stated problems with just about anything, the more users the more common a problem appears. Irregardless of initial performance I will be flashing an aftermarket ROM (most likely the one shown below or CM9). Of the the 100+ pages and 1000+ responses no issues of freezing most likely due to the fact that it is a streamlined and stabilized version of the original ROM. If you are prepared to root and reflash I doubt this will be an issue, if not I have my doubts it will be an issue for many either way.

I forgot to take in account Tmobile tax, which was $13 for me, so it came to 193 and you can sell the $50 prepaid card for about $45, so youre only saving $3.
