I stumbled across this deal while browsing video cards. I'm not sure if this model has ever gotten this low. I've been away from the Slickdeals scene somewhat but I do recall them going for the low $200's a few months back.

570 overclocks "less" because it puts out more heat... which sort of makes sense.
Every card overclocks differently, some may get more and some less. There's no guarantee that you'll overclock a 560 more than a 570, but that chances are slightly better since it runs cooler. At least that's the theory.
If you read around some forums both cards should easily OC well into the ~900mhz range. Which pretty much puts the cards neck and neck.
560ti with FXAA will most likely be faster than a 7850 running 4x/8x MSAA
its a no brainer to get the radeon if you dont plan on using anti aliasing

a 660ti vs a 7950 are NOT on the same level so... I wouldn't advise other people to necessarily do the asme thing as norazi. fxaa is just a faster implementation of anti-aliasing that takes up much less GPU power (aka more frames for indistinguishably the same picture). what's your 7950 clocked @?
The 560 ti 448 core editions are notorious for having high overclocking headroom. Just don't get a stock card like I did, the EVGA 448 FTW edition which only has a 4phase power VRM setup. I only hit 895mhz but my 3dmark11 scores show I'm somewhere in 570 territory.
This cooler however is vastly superior in terms of cooling & quieter. I actually did this to my FTW edition to drop my load temps to 62C max. And drop the noise. With the twin frozr, I doubt there's much reason for you to disassemble this 448 and slab it up with a 620/H series because... the cooler is QUALITY STUFF.

I suppose this cooler is exceptional, but what I meant is when you compare it to a GTX 570 Twin Frozr III, the GTX 570 should OC quite well too, even if a bit less. I'd have to call in inaccurate to say the 448 is faster than a 570.

But I guess the importance of this card is for the heavy overclocker--who will push almost any GTX 560Ti 448 to 1000MHz at which point I would expect it to match a 900MHz GTX 570, not top it--and that's only if this scenario pans out. But that still doesn't put this card above a 570, which was the statement that initially seemed incorrect to me.
And HD7850s are almost the same price but scale much better and have much better OC performance.
That GTX 460 768MB I played around with matched a stock GTX 470 after I turned down the OC after stability and heat testing--to put it in perspective, that's like a GTX 560 SE matching a GTX 570 after overclock. That was a very satisfying experience and my friend replaced his GTS 250 with that.

And I don't think anyone's buying this for NBA2K11 since NBA2K13 is about to come out and 2K12 has been $10 recently.
The 560 Ti 448 and the 570 are the same graphic cards with the difference of 22 cores.
Heat output between the two will be nearly the same amongst identical coolers.
The 570 can overclock as well. Apples to apples, the 570 always wins, but the 560 TI 448 is a better price to performance card.
I want to know will it be compatible

One of the best video card deals on this site for sure! I will never sell that card, just because it has been so good to me.
PS waiting for another deal like that to hit lol
