$12 Comic Book Subscriptions: Batman, Batman: The Dark Knight, Batman & Robin, Catwoman

Thank you very much. All thats missing from the Bat family that I would want is Batwoman and Detective Comics.

Hey DJ how did you find these? If I search for Batman, nothing comes up. Looking at the categories on the left hand side, I don't even see one that would include comics.

Perfect timing! Many of these issues from prior deals are just ending.

The Batman book is one of the best at DC right now.

The Batman DK book hasn't been so great but its getting (or just got?) a new writer (Gregg Hurwitz; who did great on Penguin: Pain and Prejudice) so I'm hoping the book will be better. And at a $1 an issue; whats the risk?

Batman & Robin is another great DC book. Exploring Batman/Wayne the father. A side of Batman thats never been explored before. Again well worth full cover price; so $1 an issue is a steal.

Catwoman. Real rocky start and filled w/ controversy. But w/ new Ann Nocenti, things might be looking up. (honestly, the book isn't a bad book at all.)

Interested in delivery times and packaging? As I said in a prior post YMMV. For me I receive the issue 5-7 days after release at the local comic shop. I generally get a good copy when my usual mail man does the delivery. The issues aren't protected much other than a plastic wrap. These issues are issues to read not to collect. I'm not a big comic book reader, so I wouldn't have noticed until you said it.

I'm guessing that they wanted to show #1 issues for 3 of the series.

TDKR was awesome. Just as good as TDK.

This is a pretty good deal for a physical comic- as many have stated don't expect your post office to protect these copies from water damage or crumple- but at $1 per issue, it's a steal-

For perspective, even trade paper backs these days off Amazon (i.e. Batman The Court of Owls) will collect issues at about $1.50 per issue- so as long as you don't mind the issue by issue format it's not a bad deal.

The current Batman run is pretty good- but to each their own. Best Batman book I've read this year honestly is Batman Earth One.

if i buy two of the same title will i get 2 years or 2 of a years worth of issues?
