Schick Hydro 5 Power Select Razor $4 (expired)

I'm not sure why two people voted that this isn't a good price.

1. It's cheaper than than the other front page deals for this razor.

2. It's the lowest price Amazon has ever offered for this razor.

5 blade cartridges are a little ridiculous.

It looks like if you've already clipped the $4 coupon for the previous FP razor deal today that you will not be able to get this deal. :-(

I've tried the Hydro 5 and the Gillete Fusion ProGlide and the Hydro 5 cuts up my face and leaves it bleeding like no other. i never use it anymore. I just use my Fusion.

This might be a terrible question to ask but....do you know how to shave? I can't imagine a company selling something that would cut your face that easily.

I've been using this for several weeks. It works every bit as good as my Gillette Fusion and, like every razor I've used since Ronald Reagan was in office, I have yet to cut myself.

I agree. I hate Schick branded blades. Gillette Proglide = win!

I'm guessing you only get one blade/cartridge with this razor deal?

I'd like to try it but I've got a brand new proglide fusion waiting to be used because I'm still using my old fusion with the blades I have left with it. I have an 8 pack or something with the proglide. I get the good out of them damn cartridges and use them as long as I can

Yes, I know how to shave. I've been shaving since I was 13 and I've used many different types of razors since then. Mechanical, electric, disposable, etc. The Hydro 5 blades are just huge and don't really contour well with my face. The shaving experience with the Hydro 5 is just painful and makes me really not look forward to having to get ready.

I've always had closer and cleaner shaves with Gillette. They don't tear up my face and they do a better job, judging from my experience over the years.

So, do you have a PhD on how to shave? Everyone on the forum is entitled for their own opinion and it is what SD is all about.
