Amazon's TV purchase is excellent. You don't need to worry about DOA or damaged package at all.
I am not saying this is super hot, but IMO considering other aspects in addition to price, this isn't worse than the proscan deal.

They have random power on problems which is easily fixable by firmware update, if these had not been updated already.

this TV is somewhat fat, but its very light. Much lighter than WAYYY thinner samsung 43" plasma that I have
