More like lowest price ever on the best SSD on the market... I know they keep dropping a few bucks every couple weeks, but I think I'm in for 1. Can't wait forever and I can't imagine them dropping that much more by the end of the year.

Paid $88.51 two weeks ago. Okay deal, since SSDs are only going to drop in price. But if you need one now, this is the one to get. Great performance.

But those M4s sure have dropped a lot. The P830s are dropping slowly but they're still dropping.

I expect to see a bigger drop once bigger manufacturers come into the game. Most likely after those darn HDDs fall back to pre-flood prices.

You never know. I bet people were saying that about hard disks a few months ago. Prices for flash do fluctuate.

I'm waiting for the 256gb version... damn good price.. 128gb isn't enough for dual booting OSX ML and Windows 7 Pro... with few programs on it and such..

So I been lurking the SD site strictly for SSD deals and I see this one, and I am tempted, I havent tried an SSD yet, I'm using a mechanical HDD but I also do not want to waste money so my question is:

I seen comments on all the ssd threads that the samsung and Intel are the top brands in SSD right now, Crucial M4 is following, I was going to buy an M4, but I was wondering, is the samsung 830 really good? I want to buy it so bad but what holds me back is the rumored intel price cut in ssd's in august and I was also planning on waiting till black friday to buy a 256gb SSD for a low price as I'm sure some will go down to like $140, anyways, I want something thats going to last me, I see so many comments saying OCZ ssds are always failing, even tough i learned in school that ssds should last longer than a mechanical hdd.

good deal if you newegg doesn't charge you tax in your state I am happy with that $99 amazon deal a few weeks back.
