I tend to track these sales pretty closely. I'd stay away from the Big Fatty Mascara because it's been on sale for several months and is likely not fresh. In fact, most of these sale items have been on sale for months.

Again, I'd stay away from the mascara. Old mascara is not good mascara. I buy pretty often from these sales; hope you don't mind my input.

EDIT: Also, please know UD used to offer free shipping for $35 orders, but this year raised the minimum to $50 (after all discounts). And the holiday nail kit (or any nail polish) does NOT qualify for free shipping.

Every time UD advertises its sale, people complain they can't get free shipping and inevitably it's because they're:
a) trying to buy nail polish (usually the holiday nail kit) or,
b) using a 10% promo code which makes the order - after discount - below the free shipping minimum!!!

I was just coming on to post this too Their eyeshadow palettes in the sale section are really cheap. Does UD ever do free shipping? I wanted to order, but only want 1 palette. Paying an extra $6 for shipping just seems wrong..that's half the price of the palette!

I guess the lipstick didnt work out for them. Getting rid of all shades...I seem to recall it having a weird flavor. I had tried one full price from Sephora years ago and returned it.

I agree the mascara is probably dried out and you can do better at the drugstore.

edit: yep I have a decent memory. just found this review..."I'm going to have to add to the chorus of reviewers noting the bitter taste of this product. It's annoying, long-lasting, and seems to show up about 20 minutes after application. The initial smell/taste I get is a mild caramel, which is the UD-described flavor. Too bad it doesn't last because it's pretty nice."
