I didn't get too far into the story mode of this game as I purchased it for the MP (on 360). It's a lot like the Oblivion / Skyrim. I still plan on going back and finishing it. For $10 you can't really go wrong.

Uh... It says Nier is out of stock? Anyone else get that too??? The item page says in-stock, however, when I tried to add it to my cart, I get the message:

well, good thing it's out of stock, that makes my decision a bit easier.

also, fwiw, nier is $13 used at gamestop. so this isn't the biggest deal in the world unless you're super hung up on only getting new games.

If you think GoW was a grind, then you'll be bored out of your mind with El Shaddai. I sold this game for 5 bucks on eBay after playing it for 1 hour. Other than the visuals, it is a very poor game.

For what it's worth, White Knight Chronicles 2 includes a remastered version of the first game on the disk. For 16 bones, it's totally worth it, I paid 26 for it through newegg about 6 months ago and had no regrets.

nier is an amazing game

if you enjoy wonderful soundtrack, engrossing plot, and engaging characters, it is a must buy... the negatives for the game are repetitive gameplay and lacking visuals.

Like others said here, Neir is a very good game. The battles aren't too hard. The tricky part is growing your garden because it uses real time clock in your console. If you don't cheat, it takes a long time to grow anything but you can cheat by changing your console clock from what I read.

Also, after completed the game, make sure to replay/continue playing that restarts from about 1/3 into the game. The ending will expand each time. The final ending is quite sad.

I'm surprised no one talks about Prince of Persia Trilogy HD. It is a classic trilogy. I didn't get to play the 1st or the 3rd in the trilogy, but I had so much fun playing the 2nd. It is the RPG version of Uncharted. It has some nice concepts with time as well.

Make sure to grab some ridiculous weapons in the 2nd game like the giant mickey mouse glove. I cracked up when I found these Easter eggs.

I believe there are four endings you can get (correct me if im wrong) The worse part of Nier is the grinding and finding all the items. I still remember I have to find 4 eagle eggs, which it takes me 3 hrs to do. Good times.
