Like I said, the bigger issue for me is not which games to buy at what prices (that's pretty easy to figure out) but WHICH CONSOLE TO BUY EACH GAME ON (when the price on each console is the same as it often is).
played it for 5 minutes and now im trying to get rid of it on craigslist

I'd pick up Two Worlds, but I already have a pretty long backlog of games... so pass.
Also, after completed the game, make sure to replay/continue playing that restarts from about 1/3 into the game. The ending will expand each time. The final ending is quite sad.
Make sure to grab some ridiculous weapons in the 2nd game like the giant mickey mouse glove. I cracked up when I found these Easter eggs.
If you love immersive, stunningly-beautiful music scores, multiple endings with great twists, and thought-provoking storytelling that will stay with you months after you finish, NIER is a no-brainer.
"Nier is flawed. But what it does right it does phenomenally right; the game is charming, the game drips with the love that went into it, and most of all it's human."
I found that in a comment to a review located here [gamecritics.com] (a great review) while researching whether or not to re-buy Nier a while back. See, I'd picked it up expecting a FF-esque Square game and didn't find it in the first few hours so I sold it. Turns out I found something so much better the second time around.
The bad: Nier is flawed. The graphics, while definitely PS3, are on the low end especially by today's standards years after its original release. The combat is fairly simple (more on this in a moment) and a variety of game styles (including a text adventure! srsly.) may make the game seem unpolished, which, for the most part, it is. The optional side quests, while they are optional, can get very, very, boring.
The good: The story is incredible. For something set in such a distant and unimaginable place, I felt remarkably connected to the characters and their plight throughout the whole game. And this NEVER happens for me. Not since FFVII, and X to a lesser extent. The soundtrack to Nier is the first I've ever purchased, it's THAT good. The voice acting is absolutely the best I've ever heard in a video game. The characters, while logically unbelievable are remarkably human, which is rare nowadays. The different game styles (action RPG, rail shooter, text adventure, etc.) kept it fresh for me. Some of the boss battles are simply epic. To me, I'm actually fine with the less-refined combat system because it allows you to (usually) keep your attention where it belongs - on the story.
And yeah, everyone is so sad. Nier is a very sad game. People die, things are destroyed. The characters are flawed; the game is flawed; and it was meant to be that way. Feel free to ask any other questions because I love talking about Nier. I recommend it for anyone who can appreciate a game lacking technical precision but oozing with heart and character. This one will stay with me for a while.

Director is well known for having bad endings, if you dig deep the ending actually sucks
Sometimes the story was dry with honey-do quest
Overall - 8
So the game played nice, sure it had a bunch of "go get this quest" I really didn't mind, other then the fish one...grrrr. At the end it ended nice, however if you really look into the ending and look at the interviews by the writer the ending sucked. I will say this, take the game at face value, play it, beat it and walk away...you wont be soured like I was a bit.
But Two Worlds 2 is on sale for $10 on the Playstation Store on PS3 with the Pirates of the Flying Fortress expansion included.
