Finely textured texture, hahaha. Anyways, 100mb/s read 50mb/s write, I might hav to go for this.

I've got the 16gb version, and believe it or not, the texture is definitely finely textured

But nonetheless, VERY fast drive in USB 3.0 as well as 2.0. There is a noticeable difference in speeds between the two, so you're definitely getting a boost when using 3.0. The cap stays on tightly on the plug side, but when it's on the other side, it's somewhat loose so it may be easy to lose the cap. Also, if you use a lanyard/keychain with this, you can't attach the cap to the back side, so be warned. However, overall, I love this thing. I got the 16gb for $12 on sale from NewEgg a few weeks ago; at $20, the 32gb is a great deal. If you need a new, fast USB drive, this is the one to get.

I've the 16GB version too. It has been working great for about half a year. Sequential write on USB2 reaches 30MB/s. Solid construction. The only thing potential problem is that it's easy to lose the cap.

Is that sequential reads/writes? Try using CrystalDiskMark and test it a couple of times to average it.

Wife lent 4gb usb to her friend. Wife "borrowed" my 8gb usb. More then a year later, friend still has 4gb n wife still has 8gb. Great excuse to get a 32gb 3.0 usb!!!!
