For all, the US version of Planet Earth was narrated by Segorney Weaver, Not Oprah. Oprah did Life, which is also available from Amazon [amazon.com] or Best Buy [bestbuy.com] for about $20.
There is a BBC version of Life with David Attenborough, but its 44.13 on Amazon [amazon.com].
Still, it's a good deal if you just want to see Planet Earth and then give it away, so you can wait for the better version to drop in price.
Does anyone know if this copy is the original or remastered edition?
Note that this question has nothing to do with Attenborough versus. Weaver.
