Well, the item description does specifically state "3-pack".

Ordered a set, sort of goofy I can't just stop by the store and pick them up (shipping on 3 5-gallon buckets has to kill Home Depot on this one), but it never hurts to have some extra buckets.

In for 2 3 packs. We'll see what shows up at the door.

Those white buckets "pail" in comparison to these orange buckets. Finally something useful on SD.

Those orange buckets are made in San Diego, CA. and not in China.

Any one know if these are considered food grade plastic?

Contractors love these and buy them by the thousands. My contractor alone has at least 20 of them filled with tools, mixing paint, stirring drywall mud, as well as some being used to collect trash, etc. They're pretty strong but the only thing I can think of as a knock on them is the plastic sleeve on the handles are somewhat brittle and prone to breakage. I have several and the plastic has split on all but one of them (I tend to carry heavy things in them, though) and the metal wire of the handle is hard on your hands when the plastic is gone.

Other than that, they're absolutely worth the price. I have no idea if they're food grade but I wouldn't put food into them myself. You can imagine someone you're serving food to seeing something coming from a Homer's bucket...um, no thanks

FWIW, Lowe's sells the same bucket, but in "Lowe's grey" color. I think the price is about the same as the HD bucket. But the bright orange color is so much easier to spot in a truck full of stuff. Go orange!

I was thinking about dropping by to pick up a single bucket at the local Home Depot... and I ended up buying two 3-packs, thanks to you guys!

The only reason I was curious was for use as a fermentation container for home brew beer. I don't think I'd really be interested in bulk tacos from a homer bucket.
