Decent price to buy a few or many for Xmas presents. Who doesn't like getting a little wrench now and then.

You can buy a whole set of these at harbor freight for $8. Sorry but I think one wrench is useless.

The $3.44 price won't show up even when you're ready to "place the order" even though Sears says that "special" price will be shown once the item is added to cart.

Buyer-beware of the usual Sears' internet price.

Weird. I am on the final checkout screen and still refelct the $3.44 price ($3.70 after tax).

If you own a VW you can take most of the car apart with a 10mm wrench and the screwdriver that should be near the spare tire...

lol, fortunately I drive a car that the need to "take apart" is so prevalent that I actually need to bring the tools along in the car

But I think what you are saying is that 10mm is the most common metric size you encounter, kind of like the imperial 1/2" wrench. This is also true IME (and I have not owned a VW for over 20 years)

Me too. My first 4-5 cars actually (none of which I paid more than $400 for, lol). But in truth they all are like that eventually (I was actually fibbing a bit when I said I don't carry tools in my car .. I actually do! I just owned a diesel VW once that was a total PITA & financial bust -- it was the first car I paid over $400, and I paid WAY over $400 -- so I never pass up the opportunity to whine about VWs).

Fortunately though I'd read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance not long before getting my first car, so I felt like I was doing something ... spiritual
