I read most of the previous thread but may have missed these details,
* can this playback bluray .mts format without hiccup?
* I checked the sound card output from it seems to be 7.1 capable. The lineout behind this unit is a true 7.1 spdif that can go directly into a receiver?
* What would it require to make this 3D compatible?

Would this make a good htpc?

I want to get one of these vesa mountable systems to replace my current micro-ATX PC, but can you mount these to a TV that is already wall mounted or can we do only one of the two - mount the TV to wall or mount the PC to TV?

Anyone that bought one these last time around able to comment on playback

The g620 is quite capable of handling ripped blu-rays from what I've read on avsforums. Only thing it cannot playback is 3D.

I want but will hold off until I sell my old laptop.

I would've got 60gig SSD for windows but that's just me. This is so tempting..........

There is no spdif, which kills it for me. The digital audio is only via hdmi.

i'm thinking about buying this for an HTPC. i don't have a 3D tv now, but see myself getting one in the near future. Do you folks know what is hindering this shuttle barebones from playing in 3D? is it the processor speed, or integrated graphics? Would one of the low power i3 processors be able to play back in 3D in this system?

I'm trying to figure out what are the min specs needed to play back 3D files..

please help me get perfect ram for this
